How to Find Strength & Courage in Adversity – God’s Promise of Spiritual Protection

Amid the challenges we face in our world today, it’s important to know we have God’s promise of spiritual protection.

Where can we find strength and courage amid times of adversity?

There is comfort found in the powerful words of Psalm 91. They offer us encouragement and inspiration, reminding us of the strength and protection that is available to us.

I prayed this Psalm over my family for over 30-years. Yes, things still happened over the years, but nothing insurmountable… nothing beyond what God could handle.

When we dwell in the shelter of the Most High, we find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. It is in God that we can place our trust and find refuge. In these uncertain times, we can cling to the knowledge that our God is faithful, and He will shield us from harm.

No matter what dangers surround us, whether it be the snares of the world or the threats of deadly pestilences, we can find peace under His wings. His feathers will cover us, and His faithfulness will become our shield and rampart.

We need not fear the terrors of night or the arrows that fly by day, for He is our protector.

Even when we see chaos and destruction around us, we can have assurance that harm will not overtake us. Even if a thousand may fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand, as the scripture says, we will remain untouched.

In times of darkness and despair, we will be a witness to the punishment of the wicked, knowing that justice will prevail.

By declaring that the Lord is our refuge and making Him our dwelling place, we invite His angels to guard and protect us in every aspect of our lives. They will lift us up and keep us from harm, ensuring that we do not stumble upon the stones that lie in our path.

He gives us the power to triumph over the challenges that come our way. Like a lion or a serpent, we will tread on them, trampling even the greatest obstacles that may arise. The Lord promised rescue and protection for those who acknowledge His name and seek His guidance.

In times of trouble, He will be with us, offering deliverance and honor. When we call upon Him, He will answer. He will not abandon us. He provides us with the strength and support we need to face any adversity. With Him by our side, we can find satisfaction in long life and witness the salvation He has in store for us.

Let these words resonate in our hearts, inspiring us to place our trust in the Most High. In a world that may seem uncertain and tumultuous, we can find solace, knowing we have a refuge, a fortress, and a God in whom we can trust.

Even amid times of adversity, we can find strength and courage, knowing we have God’s promise of spiritual protection.

May these words guide us and lift our spirits, reminding us we are never alone and that hope will always prevail.
